  • Analyse participant records using relevant policy, guidelines, and legislation to make informed funding decisions.
  • Engage with participants and their representatives via phone to understand current circumstances and spending patterns.
  • Maintain high-quality records in line with established process guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Research and review decisions, managing moderately complex cases with guidance from senior staff members.
  • Complete administrative and data entry tasks accurately and efficiently within set timeframes.

You will bring:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage sensitive or difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Solid IT skills, including data entry, analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong time management and workload prioritisation skills, ensuring efficient task completion.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A background in the disability sector or related field, demonstrating a deep understanding of sector-specific challenges.
  • Previous experience in customer service, case management, or a tribunal environment, showcasing transferable skills.

Educational Requirements:

  • Eligibility for Australian citizenship.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a National Criminal History Check and other background checks as required.
