About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at VMCH. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to residents, focusing on their individual needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents with their medication management and administration.
  • Engage with residents in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to older adults. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an aged care facility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing person-centred care and support.
