Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and performance of our database systems.

Job Description:

  • Monitor and maintain database instances across production and development environments
  • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust backup and restore procedures
  • Troubleshoot database performance issues and implement solutions to optimize system efficiency
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows to improve data processing and reporting
  • Collaborate with application owners to improve business reporting needs and requirements

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience in a similar role or equivalent experience in university projects with strong database components
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, C#, SSRS, and Power BI
  • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence is highly regarded
