The role requires a mature nanny with life experience who can work using her own initiative, manage busy afternoons, and support children to complete homework and afternoon activities.

The household responsibilities include completing daily chores, preparing snacks and meals, running errands, picking up the children from school, transporting them to activities, engaging with the children, having breaks, and then working on homework and preparing the evening meal.

The family is looking for someone who will create structure, set clear boundaries, and be a positive influence within the home.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the children
  • Follow the children's routines
  • Pick up from school (on occasion depending on parents schedule)
  • Engage with the children
  • Light household duties – e.g. laundry, tidying children's rooms, getting uniforms organised for the following day, folding and putting away children's clothes and organising their rooms, minor cleaning like tidying kitchen after use etc.
  • Cook for the children and on occasion a family meal
  • Transport to after school activities i.e. swimming, touch football, tennis etc.
  • Assist with homework
  • Grocery pick-ups and running errands on occasion
  • Walk the dogs

Benefits: Full time contract with perks and benefits available to the right candidate.

Requirements: A minimum of 5 years nanny / household manager experience, current first aid certificate, current Blue Card, strong communication skills, and full driving licence. The ideal candidate will also have good cooking skills and be comfortable with dogs.
