Cardiac Physiologist - Echocardiographer

The Royal Hobart Hospital is the major provider of tertiary health services in southern Tasmania, including cardio-thoracic surgery and adult and neo-natal intensive care.

The Cardiology Department provides an extensive range of high-quality diagnostic and interventional services. All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate optimal patient management through the provision of timely Echocardiograms and provisional Echocardiography reports to the Cardiologist.
  • Assisting in the coordination of the Echocardiography service and service development.
  • Contributing to the training and supervision of level 1-2 Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiology Registrars in the field of Echocardiography.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist - Echocardiographer to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will have experience working in a hospital environment, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of cardiac physiology.
