Our organization is currently seeking a skilled Boiler Maker to fill a critical role within our Maintenance Team.

We are an agribusiness operating one of the largest poultry farms in Australia, with a focus on producing high-quality eggs while prioritizing animal welfare and social responsibility.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical support staff and the Construction and Services Team to ensure efficient plant and machinery operation across various sites.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance with installation, relocation, modification, and preventive and remedial maintenance of production equipment and facilities
  • Supporting daily tasks associated with machine preparation prior to commencement of daily production
  • Maintaining a high level of quality control on all sites in accordance with quality assurance standards
  • Ensuring a high level of safety and safe working practices within all work areas

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Boiler Maker Qualification
  • A valid Driver's Licence
  • A Construction Card (Blue or White)

Desirable requirements include:

  • Proactive planning and workload management
  • Ability to work cohesively within a small team
  • Robust physical fitness level, with the ability to regularly complete highly physical tasks
  • A 'can-do' attitude, working cooperatively and efficiently to meet daily production requirements

Additional requirements include:

  • A passion for your trade and a genuine interest in working in a rural area
  • Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills
  • A valid Driver's licence and own transport
  • Strong physical fitness, with the ability to work in dirty or dusty environments, work at heights, work in confined spaces, or work outside in all types of weather
