Digital Communications Coordinator

The Great Barrier Reef Traditional Owner Taskforce is seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator to join our marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering digital content, managing online platforms, coordinating campaigns, and supporting storytelling projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver digital content that promotes the vision and priorities of the Great Barrier Reef Traditional Owner Taskforce
  • Manage website content and optimise it for search engines
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns and manage subscriber engagement
  • Manage social media channels and create engaging content
  • Track performance across digital channels and campaigns and produce regular reports with insights to inform strategy and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years' experience in digital communications, content creation, or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and culturally respectful content for diverse audiences
  • Basic graphic design skills, including proficiency in tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience managing digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing tools
  • Ability to interpret analytics and performance data, and apply insights to improve communications strategy and execution
