Early Childhood Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.

Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for coaching and advising centre teams on all matters related to quality early childhood education and care. You will work closely with centres to strengthen teaching and learning practices, including for children with additional needs. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of nationally consistent and targeted teaching and learning support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from a recognized university
  • Extensive and recent practice-based early childhood teacher education experience (aged birth to 8 years)
  • Strong understanding of the A&R process and the Exceeding Themes
  • Experience in delivering high-quality training to centre-based teams
  • Experience in supporting practice uplift with centre-based teams
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State based approved/recognized learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard
  • Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
