The Opportunity

Civmec is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Painting & Blasting Apprentices to join our Apprenticeship program.

The successful applicants will join a team of professional tradespeople working in our 29,300m2 workshop facility, one of the largest undercover workshops of its kind in Australia.

  • Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Surface Finishing)
  • Up to 54 hours a week
  • Local and ongoing work
  • Hands-on skills and knowledge

Duties and Responsibilities

The Civmec apprenticeship program focuses on developing genuine careers based on industry-leading skills, long-term employability, and high levels of safety and environmental awareness.

During their apprenticeships, Civmec apprentices will receive additional training from Civmec's own RTO and rotate throughout the business, rotations and training are planned to maximise learning experiences for each apprentice.

  • Possess a genuine desire to learn new skills and achieve a Trade Qualification
  • Be motivated, reliable, and committed
  • Demonstrate sound literacy and numeracy skills
