Business Development Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will lead and grow the Consulting, Design, and Engineering Program across Australia and New Zealand. This high-impact role focuses on strengthening relationships with security consultants and design engineers, enabling them with solutions, and building a qualified pipeline of sales opportunities.

The Senior Business Development Professional will collaborate closely with regional sales, marketing, and technical teams to drive demand for our unified security platform within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead consultant enablement and specification efforts across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Develop and deliver enablement strategies to educate consultants and design engineers on our platform, architecture, and solutions.
  • Influence the early design stages of projects to ensure our technology is specified and considered across verticals.
  • Engage key stakeholders throughout the value chain—from vendor to integrator to main contractor and end-user.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, security expos, and technical working groups, particularly where design and compliance are involved.
  • Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with top-tier security consulting firms and engineering practices.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to integrate efforts with broader strategic initiatives.
  • Provide market intelligence and field insights to help shape the company's regional positioning and roadmap.
  • Presentation of business proposals and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field /or demonstrated experience in Enterprise Physical Security Sales.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in consultancy experience in physical security and enterprise sales.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications include deep understanding of the project and procurement lifecycle in the physical security ecosystem, strong stakeholder management skills, and willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand, with occasional travel to other Asia-Pacific countries.
