The Role

We are seeking an experienced Master Project Coordinator to join our team, overseeing the delivery of large-scale projects and ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships through effective internal and external communications and reporting;
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve financial, schedule, and technical goals;
  • Guide the development of project scope, definition of work activities, and implement scope controls;
  • Plan and implement project schedules, monitor and assess performance, and implement corrective actions as required;
  • Plan, monitor, and control project costs to achieve budget expectations;
  • Manage project resources, staff training and development, and assess staff performance;
  • Oversee supply chain procurement activities to ensure quality and performance requirements are met;
  • Implement Earned Value Measurement techniques and CSCS reporting;
  • Identify and manage alleviation of project risks and realisation of project opportunities;
  • Participate in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities to maintain a safe and clean work environment;

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years Defence industry experience managing engineering development projects;
  • Familiarity with technical regulatory frameworks and governance requirements imposed by the Australian Defence Organisation;
  • Sound understanding of PMBOK Project Management principles;
  • Experience in developing and maintaining Work Breakdown Structures (DEF(AUST) 5664A preferred);
  • Knowledge of AS/NZS 4360 Risk Management;
  • A sound knowledge of performance management frameworks, including Earned Value Management system and processes;
  • Skilled in the use of MS Project or Open Plan Professional;
