Corporate Financial Analyst Job

RGIT Australia is seeking an experienced Corporate Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Corporate Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and advice to senior management and business leaders.

About the Role

The Corporate Financial Analyst will play a key role in analysing financial data to support strategic decision-making and providing insight into RGIT Australia's financial performance. They will also assist in risk assessments and help develop financial policies to minimise risk across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial trends, revenue, costs, and capital expenditures to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
  • Assist in risk assessments and help develop financial policies to minimise risk across the organisation.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management and business leaders.
  • Communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders and support cross-functional collaboration.

Business Risk & Compliance:

  • Ensure financial policies and processes are compliant with AASB/IFRS standards and meet both internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and ensure financial transparency.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to mitigate risks.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and automate tasks where possible.
  • Work closely with departments to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations.
  • Support the introduction of new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.

What You Bring to the Role

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Finance or a related field.
  2. CA/CGMA/CIMA (Operational Level Certification) or equivalent.
  3. Advanced skills in Excel (including macros) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Hyperion, Essbase, BI tools).
  4. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, management, and reporting within a commercial environment.
  5. Strong knowledge of financial modelling, cost accounting, and reporting.
  6. Experience with FP&A processes and managing complex group and tax structures.
  7. In-depth knowledge of AASB/IFRS standards.
  8. Experience with financial investment analysis and portfolio performance review.
  9. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex financial data.
  10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  11. Proven ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  12. A self-starter who embraces change and is driven by continuous learning and development.
  13. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
