Job Summary:

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is seeking an experienced Active Directory Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the upgrade and modernization of Active Directory services. This role is ideal for professionals with a deep understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft technologies, and Azure AD who are ready to tackle complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Build, and Troubleshoot Active Directory Services: Develop and implement Active Directory services, including Microsoft Group Policy management, to ensure seamless integration with Microsoft technologies.
  • Implement and Manage Azure AD and AD Connect: Design and implement Azure AD and AD Connect solutions to enhance security and scalability.
  • Oversee Active Directory Permission Delegation and Role-Based Administration: Develop and implement role-based access control and permission delegation strategies to ensure secure and efficient Active Directory management.
  • Manage Privileged Access Controls in a Secure Environment: Design and implement privileged access controls to ensure secure access to sensitive systems and data.
  • Analyze and Resolve Complex Hardware and Software Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within enterprise systems, including hardware and software problems.
  • Collaborate with Peer Teams and Vendors: Work with cross-functional teams and vendors to coordinate technical solutions and ensure seamless integration.

Requirements:

  • Essential Skills and Experience:
    • Strong technical expertise in Active Directory, including Microsoft Group Policy management.
    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including design, build, and troubleshooting.
    • Proficiency in Azure AD and AD Connect.
    • Experience with Active Directory permission delegation and role-based administration.
    • Ability to manage privileged access controls.
  • Desirable Skills and Experience:
    • Experience in managing risks and issues, along with devising mitigation strategies.
    • High-level communication and documentation skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • NV2 security clearance is required. Candidates without an existing NV2 clearance will not be considered.
