Job Description
">This role involves managing a diverse range of workers compensation matters, from claims to litigation. You will be responsible for advising clients on their rights and options under workers compensation laws, handling claims from initial lodgement to settlement, and representing clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings when required.
Key Responsibilities
">- Conducting detailed legal research to support case strategies and drafting and preparing legal documents such as claims, pleadings, and settlement offers.
- Managing multiple files efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met, and collaborating with other team members and external parties to progress claims and resolve disputes.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring clients are well informed throughout the process, and demonstrating empathy and providing clear, practical advice tailored to clients' individual situations.
- Representing clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings, and ensuring that clients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need a valid NSW Practising Certificate, 1-9 years of post-qualification experience in workers compensation law, and a sound understanding of NSW workers compensation legislation and relevant legal procedures.
