Transport Safety Professional

We are seeking an experienced Transport Safety Professional to join our WA Transport Team. This full-time, permanent role is a 2:1 FIFO position supporting our Transport and Civil projects across Western Australia.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved in our Transport and Civil projects. You will promote a strong culture of safety throughout the projects, implementing Safety Management Plans and ensuring alignment with client-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain compliance with SHEQ legislation, industry standards, and ISO standards
- Provide regular updates on safety and health legislation changes, organisational practices, and risk assessments
- Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure safety standards are adhered to
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Provide safety coaching and training to workers and subcontractors
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety performance
- Tertiary Qualification in Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- Proven experience as a safety professional, with a focus on SHEQ in transport, civil, or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a FIFO environment and adapt to remote site conditions
- A competitive salary of $150,000 inclusive of superannuation + site uplift
- 2:1 FIFO roster, flying from Perth
