**Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Sports Coach to join our team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with students in a school sport environment, providing coaching and mentoring skills.

The ideal candidate will have specialist knowledge and experience in youth sports, with a minimum Club Coach accreditation in Volleyball or relevant experience in youth Volleyball. They will be open to development through further accreditation and guidance from senior coaching staff.

The School is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican institution located in Sydney's CBD. We offer students a strong academic program and extensive opportunities to be involved in sport, music, drama and outdoor education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To deliver the Secondary School Sports Program for the 2024/2025 season.
  2. To work with the Sport & PDHPE departments to develop and implement coaching programs.
  3. To provide coaching and mentoring to students in a school sport environment.
  4. To model St Andrew's Cathedral School values and behaviours and uphold the Independent Sporting Association Code of Conduct.

Requirements:

  • A valid, verified, paid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) Level 1 First Aid is required.
  • A minimum Club Coach accreditation in Volleyball or relevant experience in youth Volleyball.
  • An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
