About the Position
The successful candidate will provide evidence-based mental health services to a diverse patient demographic, supporting individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges. This role involves close collaboration with GPs and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans that uphold quality care standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and psychometric testing to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions such as CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness, tailored to each patient's needs.
- Work closely with GPs to design integrated care plans that support holistic patient management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) standards.
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Medicare Provider Number or eligibility.
