The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Help clients participate in social, recreational, and community activities.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment.
  • Handle clients with high behaviors, employing appropriate strategies to ensure their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
