Effective People's award-winning bookkeeping practice is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team. The practice is committed to delivering exceptional client service and seeks a passionate Bookkeeper to enhance their team.
About the Role
The Bookkeeper will manage multiple clients across various industries, bringing precision and expertise to the role. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and a strong understanding of GST law.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile financial records and ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process payroll, managing employee wages, taxes, and benefits.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment collections.
- Ensure compliance with GST law and other relevant regulations.
- Utilize MYOB or XERO accounting software effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll.
- Proficiency in MYOB or XERO accounting software.
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping preferred, but not essential.
- Knowledge of Single Touch Payroll (STP) is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
