About the Role

Pirtek Australia is seeking a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join their team in Geelong. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a trade/field services background in fitting/mechanical trade and/or hydraulics, with excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills. You will be a strong team player with a strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers
  • Travel to sites within Geelong and surrounding areas to replace hoses in a breakdown situation or complete new installation work on a variety of machinery
  • Operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately
  • Anticipate problems and be proactive in finding solutions
  • Have a strong understanding of customer service and OHS and Safe Work Practices
Requirements
  • Trade certificate
  • Current Manual Driver's License
  • Flexibility with working hours as after-hours availability is a prerequisite
  • Currently living in/near or willing to relocate to Geelong
