Leading Digital Security Expert

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Chief Security Officer to play a critical role in maintaining the security of our digital networks and systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all relevant accreditations for classified networks are maintained and current, including compliance with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM).
Key responsibilities include leading liaison with accreditors, providing information security guidance to support overall security efforts within APAC, and mentoring and supporting the security team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in ICT security with a focus on classified computing environments for Australian Government and Defence related ICT systems.
A strong understanding of the Information Security Manual (ISM), Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF), and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) is essential, as well as familiarity with Australian Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) requirements and general good security practices.
The Chief Security Officer will be responsible for developing an effective holistic security plan that incorporates all elements of security, including personnel, physical, and cyber security.
Candidates should be able to explain complex security risks to non-security stakeholders of all grades and seniority.
