We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Inspector to conduct rigorous workplace inspections, gather critical evidence, and take decisive enforcement action when health and safety laws are breached.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough workplace inspections and taking prompt enforcement action when health and safety laws are violated
  • Gathering and analyzing evidence, preparing detailed prosecution reports, and making recommendations about prosecutions
  • Presenting evidence in court as required, utilizing expert knowledge of electrical safety protocols
  • Coordinating and/or undertaking investigations of fatalities, traumatic accidents, and serious accidents, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the circumstances
  • Providing expert advice and information in accordance with established procedures to management, government investigators, and families of seriously injured or deceased persons

**Requirements and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • An unrestricted electrical worker's licence endorsed
  • Demonstrated expertise in electrical safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
