The Kidney Disease Management Specialist has a focus on identifying and managing clients with chronic kidney disease to delay the progression to end-stage renal failure and providing education in relation to kidney disease.
This role involves working closely with clients to provide tailored support and guidance, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and empowering them to take control of their condition.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you will require:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse or registered Aboriginal Health Practitioner with at least 2 years' post-graduate work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing clients with chronic disease, particularly chronic kidney disease, and providing education in disease prevention and health promotion.
- Knowledge of issues affecting the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people in Central Australia.
