About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Spinal Rehabilitation Unit in the Repat Health Precinct. This is an ongoing position working up to 30 hours per week within a committed multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team.

The successful applicant will have health or rehabilitation experience, or a strong interest in this area, and be committed to supporting patients' adjustment to spinal cord injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments and design intervention programs for patients with spinal cord injuries.
  • Provide education and counselling on an individual and/or group basis to patients and their families.
  • Consult with staff as required and participate in multi-disciplinary case discussions regarding patient care.
Requirements
  • Must hold an appropriate degree (specifically Master's Degree in Clinical or Health Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA.
  • Must hold general registration with the PsyBA.
