This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Housing/Shelter Support Worker.

The Housing/Shelter Support Worker participates directly in planning and conducting individual counselling sessions using basic one-on-one counselling techniques. They provide specific life skills building in problem areas, engage residents in services from intake procedures and programs, and advocate for residents to help them succeed in their goals. The role requires resolving difficult or sensitive issues, responding to medical emergencies, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for a marginalized population.
