Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join our dynamic team of educators at St Pius X School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students from Pre-Kindy to Year 6 using evidence based teaching and learning methods
  • Complement the school's team with your knowledge and skills
  • Support the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education

Familiarity with Apple products would be desirable.

Selection Criteria
  1. Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
  2. Possess the necessary Early Childhood Education qualifications
  3. Be familiar with the Early Years Learning Framework (ELYF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  4. Have a strong understanding of the developmental needs of young children
  5. Offer a differentiated curriculum to cater for children of all abilities
  6. Assist all students to achieve their full potential
  7. Implement teaching programs that engage all students in inquiry based learning
  8. Possess strong ICT skills and the ability to integrate technology in the teaching and learning program
  9. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other staff
  10. Demonstrate highly competent classroom management skills
  11. Be accredited to teach Religious Education or be willing to undertake the relevant studies

To be considered for this teaching opportunity, you must have:

Qualifications Required
  • A minimum four year tertiary qualification
  • A current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA)
  • Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or working towards)
