Pharmacist Position

This job posting is for a permanent part-time Pharmacist role at a community pharmacy in the northern Gold Coast corridor. The successful candidate will be working 18 hours per week, with shifts on Thursday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.

About the Job

The Sole Pharmacist on duty will be responsible for dispensing medications, counselling patients, administering vaccinations, and managing medicinal cannabis scripts. The pharmacy has a Dispensary Technician to support the Pharmacist, and there is no methadone or CPOP work involved.

Responsibilities
  • Dispensing medications and counseling patients
  • Administering vaccinations
  • Managing medicinal cannabis scripts
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of the dispensary
  • Confidence in delivering vaccinations
  • Familiarity with Dispense Works is advantageous
Benefits
  • $55/hr on Thursday evenings
  • $65/hr on Saturdays
  • $75/hr on Sundays
  • 12% superannuation and all permanent part-time entitlements
