Clinical Advisor Role

This is a unique opportunity for skilled occupational therapy professionals to offer expert clinical guidance in a regulatory context. The ideal candidate will provide critical input into the assessment and management of notifications, compliance matters, and registration procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer timely and accurate clinical advice on the assessment and management of notifications, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in identifying performance-based issues and contributing to the development of strategies to address them.
  • Provide guidance on the application and monitoring of regulatory actions imposed on occupational therapists' registrations.
  • Support the delivery of a professional, proactive, efficient, confidential, and customer-focused service.

The successful candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy, current general registration without restrictions as a health practitioner in Australia, and a minimum of five years' experience in senior roles within the profession. They will also have high-level organisational skills, including prioritisation and task management, as well as the ability to exercise judgment and resolve complex issues independently.
