Simulator Technician

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulator Technician to join our team at CAE Australia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex assignments in office, on site, field, and laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems.
• Diagnose and correct problems on simulators and associated systems.
• Train technicians in basic skills and provide technical training for other technicians.
• Complete all designated training activities and pursue continued professional growth and training.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on all simulators.
• Run and evaluate required Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Approval Test Guide (ATG)/Qualification Test Guide (QTG) tests.
• Assist the Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements.
• Pursue knowledge and skills to enhance ability as a technical expert.
