About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that reports directly to the Executive Director. As a Procurement Team Leader, you will work closely with various management and team leads across Australia, including Head Office, Sites, and Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the end-to-end procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing agreements for our national operations.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to ensure procurement policies are followed and goods are delivered to sites efficiently.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and policies.
  • Manage procurement-related reporting and compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Administer vendor relationships, including onboarding and management of vendor contracts.

About You:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in a national company with remote sites.
  • Significant experience in managing a team with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and experience in inventory management.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and create a proactive and positive team culture.
  • Experience in the mining services and/or construction industries is preferred.
