About the Role
The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a skilled Headspaces Work Specialist to support the implementation of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) program.
The IPS program aims to improve educational and employment outcomes for young people with mental illness by addressing additional barriers to employment.
As a Headspaces Work Specialist, you will provide vocational assistance to young people aged 12 to 25 years within an integrated team.
You will need to have advanced assessment and planning skills, as well as the ability to draw on a range of interventions to enhance vocational engagement for participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide vocational assistance to young people with mental illness
- Support the implementation of the IPS program
- Work within an integrated team to address barriers to employment
