About this role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Global Business Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients in the international education industry.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity that requires a high level of initiative, attitude, and ability to thrive within a dynamic environment. You will work closely with stakeholders and staff at all levels to achieve business objectives and contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a well-developed understanding of the international vocational education and training (VET), Higher Education and English language markets. They will also possess excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder and customer engagement liaison. Additionally, they should have a strong track record in contributing to team sales targets and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining knowledge and providing analysis of international student recruitment markets
  • Developing and implementing marketing tasks to support TAFE Queensland student markets
  • Providing customer support through enquiry management systems and face-to-face prospective student consults
  • Coordinating events and activities for internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing professional administrative and project support to the Global Business Team
