Early Childhood Education Teacher

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a passionate and skilled Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Braeside Primary School. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in Kindergarten, promoting literacy and numeracy outcomes, and developing positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and play-based learning experiences using the Western Australian Curriculum, Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines, and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Use evidence-based instructional strategies and programs, such as PreLit, Kindergarten Oral Language Program, Heggerty, and Peggy Lego, to support student learning.
- Develop and implement STEM and robotics programs in the Early Years classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver whole-school approaches to improve literacy and numeracy outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold an eligible teaching qualification.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

- Consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
