CSSD Technician

We are seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join our dynamic perioperative team on a casual basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for thermal disinfection inspection, packaging, and sterilizing of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Complying with AS/NZ standards 5369:2023, GENCA
- Operating, interpreting, and documenting all machinery operational requirements
- Reporting and documenting all quality activities
- Ensuring priority of instrumentation and processes
Essential criteria include:
- 2 years' experience as a CSSD technician in an acute hospital setting
- Sound knowledge of AS/NZ standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
- Experience with tracking systems
- Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases
