  • We are seeking a skilled Production Equipment Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

">Job Responsibilities">
  • Maintain and repair production equipment, machinery, and electrical parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine checks on machines, replacing or repairing worn-out parts, such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
  • Identify causes of mechanical issues by observing and listening to devices in operation.
  • Dismantle equipment to replace defective parts and examine components for imperfections.
  • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
  • Adjust functional parts of devices, repair or replace defective parts, and install new components.
  • Purchase replacement parts and lubricate equipment to maintain its performance.
  • Participate in the on-call program and work additional hours as required.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety rules and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Electrician's License preferred but not mandatory.

Competencies:

  • Solve practical problems in varied situations with limited standardization.
  • Interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands:

  • Work 12-hour shifts, rotating between 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, with overtime when needed.
  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; frequently lift and/or move objects over 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; occasional exposure to toxic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
