We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our Service team in Perth, Western Australia. As a leader in industrial automation and control system integration, we strive to provide exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

As an Automation Specialist, you will have a background in working on industrial control systems, a keen interest for continuous learning and ability to produce safe, reliable and maintainable PLC and SCADA systems to meet client requirements within a wide variety of sectors.

  • Provide field service and breakdown support for customers over varying industries.
  • Perform preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance and documentation.
  • Assist with commissioning of projects.
  • Complete electrical installation works.
  • On-the-job reporting, timekeeping and invoicing.

You will be experienced in troubleshooting using PLC and SCADA tools across major platforms, including Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
  • Industrial electrical experience.
  • Experience with fault finding PLC/SCADA/HMI Systems.
  • PLC programming skills (ideally in Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider) and HMI/SCADA Programming skills (ideally in Citect, FactoryTalk or WinCC).
  • Electrical installation and commissioning experience.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.
