About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Busways. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with our buses
  • Maintain and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our maintenance goals
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualifications and experience in heavy vehicle maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and diagnostic techniques
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
