We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist to join our renowned Geotechnical & Tunnels team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering geotechnical projects from proposal preparation to fieldwork, analysis, and reporting.

With a strong background in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology, you will have experience in geotechnical design, including rock/soil/structure interaction, and a proven track record in promoting innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders from proposal preparation to project delivery
  • Undertake and manage geotechnical investigation and design projects from proposal preparation to fieldwork, analysis, and reporting
  • Support the delivery of dam surveillance, safety inspections, risk assessments, and development of safety management systems
  • Use your interpretation and design skills to contribute to geotechnical projects in the energy transition, mining industry, and transport industry
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team throughout project delivery
  • Drive business development through successful delivery of projects
  • Promote a safe working culture by identifying and eliminating safety hazards
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality projects and promoting innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering.

You will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology, with experience in geotechnical design, including rock/soil/structure interaction, and a proven track record in promoting innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering.

You will be a natural connector, problem solver, and team player with a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
