We are seeking an experienced Employment Psychologist to join our team in North Perth. In this role, you will work closely with clients who have complex barriers to employment, conducting thorough assessments and providing recommendations to relevant services.

The position involves:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of candidates with various disabilities and barriers to employment;
  • Offering counseling interventions as needed, utilizing evidence-based psychological methodologies;
  • Referring clients to external support services to address barriers;
  • Providing evaluations on assessments and monitoring the progression of cases;
  • Liaising with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of clients;
  • Delivering training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology with eligibility for full or provisional registration with AHPRA;
  • Experience working within employment services, with a strong understanding of psychology assessment/intervention strategies;
  • Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills, with the ability to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds;
  • A proven track record of constructing accurate and articulate case reports;
  • The ability to generate positive outcomes for clients.
