Job Summary

The Communication & Control Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of critical equipment. This includes network switches, PLCs, CCTV cameras, access control, passenger information equipment, radio, workstations, and servers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of Operation Technology systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Updates, upgrades, and installations to Operational Technology systems.
  • Identification and resolution of system faults to minimize disruptions.
  • Configuration of OT networks for secure and efficient data transfer.
  • Audit of client systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Participation in a 24x7 on-call roster for one week per month to provide emergency support.
  • Completion of one week of night shifts every quarter to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills, including concise verbal skills and written technical reports.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback for personal growth and team development.
  • Previous experience with OT systems, CCTV systems, audio systems, radio systems, and network configurations (Cisco).
  • Data and/or fibre cabling experience (training provided if necessary).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
