Academic Tutors Wanted

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and reliable tutors to join our team. As an academic tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tuition to students, primarily after school hours and/or on weekends.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a command of language, and the ability to work autonomously. You will be required to travel up to 15 minutes to client's homes or agreed-upon locations for in-person lessons, with reimbursement available for distance travelled (applicable only to in-person lessons).

Tutors are expected to be available for at least 5 hours per week. In return, we offer:

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC) certification;
  • Excellent communication skills and command of language;
  • Reliability, organisation, and approachability, with the ability to work autonomously;
  • An owned vehicle and tools of trade.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, requiring at least 5 hours of work per week. We offer flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home. The schedule includes afternoon shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, flexible hours, Monday to Friday, morning shifts, night shifts, shift work, and weekend availability.
