Overview: We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Prevention & Recovery Care.
Job Summary: The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychiatric services, including assessments, treatment plans, and medication management. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based psychiatric care to patients of all ages, including children, adults, and older adults.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Prescribe and manage medications as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
