We are seeking a skilled Culinary Caregiver to join our Hotel Services team at Infinite Care. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for food and delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Job Summary

As a Culinary Caregiver, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals to our residents. You will also be involved in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

About the Role

This is a physical role that requires you to be able to lift, bend, and push items safely. You will need to have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and serve meals to our residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including all equipment and utensils.
  3. Clean and sanitize all food preparation areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  4. Wash up, load, and unload the dishwasher as required.
  5. Participate in food preparation and presentation, including plating and garnishing dishes.

Requirements

  • 6 months' experience in a kitchen or food service environment, preferably in the aged care sector.
  • Cleaning experience desirable.
  • A strong passion for food and delivering exceptional care to our residents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and work with limited supervision.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and pushing.

Salary

$60,000 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

Location

Infinite Care facilities across Australia.
