Business Development Director

GC CRO is a leading provider of clinical research services, dedicated to accelerating drug development and improving patient outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team.

This role will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving strategic growth initiatives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the clinical trial industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think strategically and commercially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in alignment with corporate growth strategy.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to expand business within existing accounts.
  • Cultivate and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads from initial contact through to contract execution.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers, including C-level executives and clinical operations leaders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in business development or sales within a CRO.
  • Demonstrated success in securing small to mid-scale clinical trial contracts and achieving sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the drug development lifecycle, regulatory frameworks, and clinical trial operations.
