About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team at Ventia, a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand. As an Electronics Technician, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and repair of electronic devices in vehicles, plant, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trade-related tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of electronic devices
  • Diagnose faults, test, and repair electronic devices
  • Work on our long-standing Defence Maintenance Contract
  • Collaborate with the Technical Supervisor to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair processes
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a defence clearance
  • Recognised trade Certificate III in electro-technology communications or a similar electronics discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain electronics equipment
  • Possess demonstrated competencies in the use of computer IT applications, including MILIS, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to maintain and repair and calibrate equipment, including gauges, binoculars, and compasses
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to maintain module level high frequency and very high frequency radio systems in the combat radio fleet to a medium level of repair, using a repair facility
