About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our team in Roma, Queensland. As a Speech Pathologist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality services to rural and remote communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and design holistic, person-centred intervention services and therapy plans for clients across the lifespan.
  • Work in a variety of settings, including in-clinic and in-community settings, such as GP Practices, Aboriginal Health Centres, Kindy or School environments.
  • Collaborate with other allied health professionals, including Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists.
  • Provide services under the NDIS, including assessment and management of AAC.
  • Engage in regular supervision and clinical support from a Senior Speech Pathologist and internal PD with the SP and OT teams.
Requirements
  • Membership to SPA.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently within different service delivery models and across different locations.
  • Passion for delivering evidence-based treatment.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • National Police Check.
  • Blue Card and NDIS worker screening clearance.
