The Opportunity

Civmec is seeking a skilled Serviceperson Mechanic to join our Construction Division and Shutdown Divisions, with FIFO and DIDO options available. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining heavy diesel equipment, including EWPs, scissor lifts, and cranes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel equipment
  • Conduct auto electrical works and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Ensure all plant is serviced and maintained to a high standard
  • Previous experience in FIFO environments is preferred

Requirements

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic/Automotive Technician/Mechanical Fitting
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
  • 2-3 Years experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit
  • Current drivers' licence
