The Role
As an Equipment Maintenance Controller, you'll be responsible for the cleaning and inspection of equipment at our Ingleburn branch. Your tasks will include reporting equipment damage, ensuring equipment is ready, fit for purpose, and safe for hire. You'll also support our workshop mechanics and electricians to enable them to focus on equipment repairs and complex tasks.
• Perform basic inspection checks and testing of electrical cables and height safety equipment at the branch, following our maintenance program.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workshop and service area.
About You
This role is perfect for someone with a mechanical aptitude, who enjoys fixing equipment and is planning a trade career. You'll need excellent customer service skills, a can-do attitude, and be physically fit, with knowledge of safety standards. A current driver's license and forklift high-risk license are essential, and intermediate computer skills, time management, and organizational skills are desirable.
