Natural gas meets more than a quarter of Australia's energy needs and is our third largest export.

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic Executive to join our team and lead our efforts in advocating for our members and positively influencing policy and regulatory arrangements in Western Australia.

As a Senior Leader, reporting to the General Manager States and Territories, you will be instrumental in positioning Australian Energy Producers as a leading industry organisation and a highly effective advocate for our members.

  • Establish and maintain an effective network of contacts with the Western Australia government, regulatory bodies, media, first nations groups and other important stakeholders to positively influence policy and regulatory arrangements for the sustainable and commercial development of the oil and gas industry in the region.
  • Be a highly visible representative of Australian Energy Producers and the industry in Western Australia, including as a media spokesperson on state issues.
  • Maintain strong, trusted relationships with the Western Australia based members as well as working to attract and retain new members.
