Innovative Health and Physical Education Specialist

The role of a Primary Health and Physical Education Teacher is to deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote students' physical and mental well-being.

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess relevant teaching qualifications, current full registration or provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland, and an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. A written response outlining their suitability for the role will also be required. Pre-service teachers are encouraged to include completed practicum reports, mentor/referee statements, and unofficial academic transcripts in their response.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality health and physical education lessons to students from Prep to Year 6.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding and skills.
- Contribute to school programs and events that promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
